It is designed to moisturize and lubricate the vagina, enhance the ease and comfort of intimate sexual activity, and supplement the body's natural lubrication. It is not made with hormones or drugs, is long-lasting (7 days each ring), and self-inserted/removed weekly. LivRing is the only IVR that provides long-lasting controlled-release of a moisturizing lubricant and available OTC. Fifty percent of all post-menopausal women experience the pain and discomfort of chronic vaginal dryness.Twenty percent of pre-menopausal women also experience dryness.
