Diagnostic Ventures is a company focused on creating novel diagnostic medical technologies. Annually, sepsis affects 50 million people worldwide, with over 11 million deaths. Our company has a patented process that uses whole blood from a patient presenting with sepsis symptoms and produces results within 1 hour without the need of a Blood Culture. We are able to identify the most common pathogens and resistant genes present in bacteria that cause bloodstream infections. Our Rapid Sepsis assay will help save lives, by quickly identifying patients who have this type of infection and providing doctors the tools to quickly prescribe the right antibiotics for sepsis infections.

We are also working on a proof of concept for an Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test (AST) with results in 2 -2 1/2 hours.
