Biologic Input Output Systems (BIOS), is a neuroprosthetic company.  We are developing a next generation upper-limb control system that interfaces directly with the nervous system to provide intuitive and dexterous control and sensory feedback.  BIOS operates at the convergence of neuroscience, AI / ML, robotics and advanced materials.

We are seeking a part-time business analyst. 
 
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Competitive Intelligence: Track and analyze the competitive landscape, gathering data on industry trends, competitor strategies and market shifts. Synthesize findings and assess their implications to inform business strategy and decision-making.
  • Due Diligence: Support fundraising initiatives and due diligence processes by preparing research-driven content and compiling relevant documentation.
  • Business Development: Assist in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships. This includes preparing for meetings, supporting contracting and negotiation processes, and providing data-driven insights to strengthen relationships.
  • Reporting: Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting by collecting, analyzing, and presenting key business metrics and insights. Ensure timely and accurate documentation and submissions.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Undertake special projects as assigned, adapting quickly to evolving business needs and priorities.
 
Critical Skill Sets
  • Comfort with Ambiguity: Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapting to shifting priorities and incomplete information.
  • Data Analytics: Collect, analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from diverse sources, providing actionable insights for business decision.
  • Content Creation: Prepare clear, concise and impactful presentations and supporting materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excel Modeling: Advanced skills in Excel for data modeling, scenario analysis and visualization of complex datasets.
